A gentle class designed to reduce the aches and pains which accompany pregnancy in a nurturing and supportive environment. We will focus on special breathing techniques, opening the hips and preparing the body for birth. The course roughly follows the outline below though subject to change depending on the class It is strongly recommended to attend a block of classes, weeks 1 thru 6 to avail of a fully rounded experience of yoga posture, breath, labour and birth preparation. After completing a 6 week course most people choose to follow on with another course and continue throughout their pregnancy. Yoga posture and breath and pelvic floor exercises are covered every week. Week to week the emphasis will vary as below. There is always the opportunity, and it is encouraged to ask questions & share concerns whether in the class, before, after or even via email. This may change the theme of the class though that will also depend on the group.
